  • Spider Treatment | Incognito Pest Manag

Spider Treatment In many cases spiders are a beneficial arachnid to have around but there are instances that they need to be controlled for safety or aesthetic reasons. Reducing the food source for spiders is step number one. Controlling other pests on the interior will also limit the number of spiders that are in the home. Our spider treatments are tailored to fit your situation, depending on the size of the infestation and layout of your home. Spider treatment may include a combination of pesticide treatments and removal of webs in existing environments. Eliminating webs greatly reduces spider development sites and will assist in the overall control of the overall spider population inside your home. Call us to schedule your free inspection today! • Tick Treatment | Incognito Pest Manag

Tick Treatment Ticks are ectoparasites and arachnids, closely related to spiders and mites. They feed only on the blood of warm-blooded mammals like humans, pets, livestock, and wild animals. Beyond the obvious discomfort of a pest that feeds on people they also carry dangerous diseases such as Lyme, Powassan, tularemia, and ehrlichiosis, spreading them to both people and animals. Common species found in Massachusetts (black-legged deer tick, American dog t ick and Lonestar tick) have oval-shaped bodies that are flat unless they have recently fed; after feeding, their bodies swell like a balloon. Adult ticks are wingless and have eight legs. They come in a wide range of colors including black, reddish-brown, or gray. Ticks also have specialized mouth parts that allow them to pierce the skin of their host. This propensity for transmitting disease places ticks among the most dangerous pests that you should always avoid. Our Tick control program treats the yard for any current ticks and those that may be dropped by wildlife passing through your yard. The program is designed around monthly applications typically beginning in early April through the end of September to disrupt the tick life cycle and make a significant reduction to the population.
